Texas Original Launches 1-Gram All-in-One Medical Marijuana Vapes

What is new: Texas Original is selling three 1-gram all-in-one medical cannabis vaporization devices for $100 each. The preloaded, rechargeable format includes the battery and doubles the oil quantity of the company's established 0.5-gram cartridges. CannaWize has not tried these products, so this is an announcement and listing analysis—not a review of flavor, effects, hardware reliability or symptom relief.

A Larger Format, Ready to Use

Texas Original's official vaporization guide describes the new devices as preloaded, inhale-activated and rechargeable, with metered technology intended to deliver 3 to 5 mg THC per three-second draw. The device stops heating after that interval. Patients should still follow the dosage and timing entered by their physician rather than treating the cutoff as permission to repeat draws quickly.

The all-in-one design removes the cartridge-and-battery assembly step required by the company's half-gram products. It may also be more convenient for a patient who does not already own compatible Texas Original hardware. The larger reservoir means less frequent replacement for someone prescribed enough medication to use the full device.

The Three Texas-Inspired Options

Hill Country Sunset is the indica entry. A current Texas Original product listing says it combines Granddaddy Purple and GSC-inspired profiles, with sweet, berry and earthy flavor notes. The reviewed listing showed 866 mg THC in the 1 g device, though batch results can change.

Marfa Lights is the hybrid. Texas Original includes it in the official launch lineup, but the general announcement provides less batch-specific detail than the store pages available for the other two products. Patients should use the exact menu, package and certificate of analysis for the device they receive rather than assuming one location's specifications apply statewide.

Padre Pineapple is the sativa entry. A current Texas Original listing describes Pineapple Express and Sour Tangie-inspired profiles with bright citrus and herbal notes. That page showed 837 mg THC per device and 3 to 5 mg per draw at the time of reporting.

What $100 Buys—and What It Does Not Prove

Quantity can reduce interruptions, but a larger device is not inherently a better fit. Patients who are still learning how they respond to inhaled THC may prefer a smaller quantity before committing to a full gram. A larger reservoir also does not establish how many usable draws a particular device will deliver; draw behavior, charging, storage, clogging and oil remaining in the hardware can affect real-world yield.

Texas Original lists the 0.5 g OG Kush and Blue Dream cartridges at $45, with separate batteries at $10 or $20. That makes two half-gram carts $90 in oil alone. A first-time cartridge buyer would spend $100 to $110 after adding hardware, while an existing battery owner would not need that extra purchase. Price and inventory are time-sensitive and can differ by pickup point.

Access Still Requires a Specific Prescription

These are Texas Compassionate Use Program products, not general retail vapes. State law allows a physician to prescribe pulmonary inhalation when the physician determines it is medically necessary, and the prescription must specify the THC amount per dosage unit. The current Texas Occupations Code also distinguishes approved vaporization from smoking.

Texas Original says patients must be registered in TCUP and have vaporization specifically authorized. Its listings restrict sales to patients 18 and older. What We Still Need to Learn

The new format answers one frequent patient request: more medicine in a single vape device. It does not yet answer how the hardware performs through the end of a gram, whether the draw stays consistent after recharging, or how Hill Country Sunset, Marfa Lights and Padre Pineapple compare with Texas Original's existing cartridges.
