Material Corrections
A material factual error is corrected in the article and noted near the relevant text or at the end of the story. The note states what was wrong, what is correct, and when the change was made. The page’s modified timestamp is updated.
Clarifications and Updates
A clarification improves precision when the original statement was not necessarily false. A developing-story update adds a new court order, agency statement, dataset, response, or other material development. Updates retain the original publication date and receive an updated timestamp.
Copy Repairs
Spelling, punctuation, formatting, broken links, accessibility improvements, and duplicated template text may be repaired without a formal correction when they do not alter the reported meaning.

September 21, 2026; Fourth Circuit THCA Article
Retraction: CannaWize retracted its September 19 article claiming the Fourth Circuit issued a THCA ruling on September 16, 2026. The court's official record says no opinions were released that day, and the article did not identify a case name, docket number or opinion. The unsupported claims and commercial links were removed, and the original URL now displays the full retraction notice.
July 30, 2026; Texas Smokeable-Hemp Explainer
Update, not a correction: The July 25 explainer was updated with DSHS’s current July 31 enforcement position and a link to a separately published report. Repeated template text was removed as a copy repair. The original publication date remains visible.
