Independent cannabis media and consumer resources

The Full Cannabis Picture, Under One Roof.

CannaWize connects reporting, policy, research, medical access, consumer education, reviews, shopping guidance, business coverage, culture, and local information in one accountable publication.

CannaWize is built for patients, adult consumers, families, businesses, researchers, advocates, and decision-makers who need the whole cannabis picture without shame or hype. Former hemp store owner Blair Henderson brings firsthand retail experience to an independent publication that connects public policy, scientific evidence, medical access, product quality, consumer decisions, local rules, culture, and the business realities behind the market.

Our Point of View

We support clear age limits, independent laboratory testing, accurate potency and ingredient labels, child-resistant packaging, responsible adult marketing, and consequences for deception. We oppose blanket prohibition, selective enforcement, and claims that the entire hemp industry targets children when the evidence points to specific practices or bad actors. Regulation should be workable, proportionate, and written with input from patients, consumers, laboratories, and small businesses rather than only agencies and incumbent license holders.

Destigmatizing cannabis does not require pretending it is risk-free. It requires describing cannabis as cannabis: a plant and product category with adult uses, evidence-supported medical applications, emerging research, individual variation, and risks that can be reduced through education and good rules.

What CannaWize Covers

CannaWize operates as one publication with several connected desks. News and Policy tracks legislation, agencies, court actions, and the divide between federal, state, and local law. Research and Myth Busters examine study design, dose, formulation, uncertainty, and popular claims. The medical resource center explains eligibility, patient access, safety questions, and state programs without pretending a general article can decide treatment.

Who Is Responsible

is CannaWize’s editor and publisher. Blair makes final decisions about sourcing, conclusions, corrections, commercial disclosures, and publication.

How the Work Is Funded

CannaWize may earn a commission from some links and may publish clearly labeled advertising, sponsored material, or partner features. Commercial relationships are separated from independent news and research coverage. They do not buy a favorable review, suppress criticism, or control conclusions. The disclosure and advertising pages explain the rules and available opportunities.

How We Use Images

Editorial photography is selected for relevance, quality, and clear reuse rights. Context photographs do not claim to show a named patient, business, enforcement action, or reviewed product unless the caption says they do. Our image credits identify photographers and source pages for the royalty-free editorial photographs used across CannaWize.

What CannaWize Is Not

The site is not a clinic, law firm, laboratory, dispensary, or government agency. It does not prescribe products, guarantee eligibility, or authorize conduct. Health and legal decisions should be made with a qualified professional and the current rule for the relevant jurisdiction.

Accountability

Articles link to the strongest available sources and date time-sensitive claims. Material factual errors are corrected after verification. Readers can submit corrections, source tips, accessibility issues, and disclosure questions through the contact page.
