Who Texas Original Is
Texas Original is a state-licensed medical cannabis company serving registered patients under the Texas Compassionate Use Program, or CUP. It operates legally within Texas for qualifying conditions.
Unlike hemp-derived retailers, it serves patients who hold a valid prescription in the state registry, which makes it a medical provider rather than an online hemp shop.
What They Offer
The current menu spans vaporization devices, gummies, oral syringes, tinctures, topicals, chocolates, beverages and concentrates. Availability, cannabinoid ratio and permitted quantity depend on the live menu and the patient’s prescription.
This is a physician-directed medical channel, not a recreational dispensary or an online hemp shop. Compare cannabinoid ratio, dosage form and prescription instructions rather than judging products by THC percentage alone.
Service and Access
Texas Original offers statewide pickup and delivery to registered patients, which matters in a state with limited dispensary access. Ordering requires an active prescription in the CURT registry.

For an eligible patient with a CURT prescription, Texas Original is one of the dispensing organizations listed by DPS. Compare its formulation, pickup or delivery option and total cost with the other licensed providers available to you.
It is not a fit for someone without a qualifying condition or CURT prescription, and its products should not be treated as interchangeable with retail hemp products. Product choice and dosage belong with the prescribing clinician and the patient.
Texas Original Versus Hemp Retailers
The two channels operate under different rules. Texas Original dispenses physician-directed products through TCUP; retail hemp products are outside that medical program and do not provide the same prescription framework or program protections.
