LIT Farms Essential vs. Preferred vs. Supreme

By · Published August 3, 2026

Essential is the value tier, Preferred is the middle, and Supreme is the premium tier. The important question is whether the current batch and price jump fit the way you shop.

The short answer

Which LIT Tier Should You Buy?

Choose Essential when cost is the first filter. Choose Preferred when you want the middle of the range. Choose Supreme only when the specific batch justifies paying roughly two to three times an Essential sale price.

Prices checked August 3, 2026
TierObserved 28g pricePrice per gramBest fitMain caution
Essential$34.99-$49.99$1.25-$1.79Budget and frequent buyersMany low-price listings are smalls; batches rotate.
Preferred$59.99-$79.99$2.14-$2.86Middle-tier shoppersThe value depends on the specific strain and sale price.
Supreme$99.99-$119.99$3.57-$4.29Premium-tier buyersThe price jump is substantial; verify the current batch.

Price per gram uses 28 grams per ounce and excludes tax and shipping. This is a menu comparison, not a claim that every listed batch was personally sampled.

What Essential Actually Means

LIT describes Essential as its affordable, everyday tier. The live menu mixes full-size 28g listings with 28g smalls, so two products carrying the same tier name may not be identical formats.

During our check, sale-priced smalls such as rotating Runtz, cake and gelato-style listings were commonly $34.99 to $39.99. Full-size Essential ounces often sat closer to $49.99. At those prices, Essential competes directly for searches like cheap THCA ounce, clearance ounce and daily flower.

When Preferred Makes Sense

Preferred occupies the hardest tier to judge because it has to feel meaningfully better than Essential while staying far enough below Supreme. Current Preferred ounces commonly ranged from $59.99 to $79.99, with some smalls appearing below that range during sales.

Do not choose Preferred solely because the tier name sounds safer. Open the product page, check whether the selected option is smalls or full-size flower, review the batch report, and compare the specific strain against a well-documented Essential option.

Who Should Pay for Supreme?

Supreme is LIT's highest regular flower tier. Public listings during our check included 28g products around $99.99 to $119.99. That puts the tier closer to High Hippy's value-ounce price than to LIT Essential.

A Supreme purchase should be strain-specific, not automatic. Look for clearer batch evidence, current product photographs, the flower format you actually want and enough difference in the listing to justify the premium. If the product page does not answer those questions, Essential or Preferred is the more defensible buy.

How We Built This Comparison

We checked LIT's public Essential, Preferred, Supreme and main collection pages on August 3, 2026. We recorded visible 28g price bands, whether listings were labeled smalls, the merchant's tier descriptions, published COA access and the current shipping notice.

We did not treat a crossed-out price as proof of long-term savings, and we did not turn a merchant tier label into a quality claim. Final value depends on the batch, format, shipping and your own preferences.

Shipping Restrictions Matter

LIT currently publishes a long excluded-state list. Do not assume that a product can ship simply because its page is visible. Check the current notice and your address before using any price comparison as a final delivered-cost decision.

Bottom line

Our Tier Recommendation

Essential is the default value pick. Preferred deserves consideration when a named strain and current batch stand out. Supreme is a selective premium purchase, not an automatic upgrade.
