CannaWize / Methodology
How CannaWize Tests Online THCA Retailers
Our national comparisons separate verified facts, first-hand observations, merchant claims, and unknowns. Affiliate relationships never count as evidence of product or retailer quality.
Retailer scorecard
- Seller identity: visible business and support information.
- Batch documentation: whether a product has a current, batch-matched COA and clear cannabinoid and contaminant results.
- Checkout cost: item price, mandatory charges, shipping, and price per gram where quantities are comparable.
- Fulfillment: order timestamp, processing time, carrier handoff, advertised service, and arrival time.
- Packaging: condition, labeling, discretion, and batch match.
- Support and returns: response quality and whether the written policy matches the resolution offered.
- Disclosure and corrections: affiliate relationship, free products, limitations, and any post-publication correction.
Evidence labels
Tested by CannaWize means we have direct order or product evidence. Verified on merchant site means a dated page or checkout observation. Merchant-stated is attributed but not independently confirmed. Missing evidence stays unknown.
Planned national studies
Our first recurring datasets are a delivered-price-per-gram index, shipping-speed test, and retailer transparency scorecard. We will publish results only after the sample, timestamps, exclusions, and supporting observations are complete—not as placeholder rankings.
Affiliate independence
Some retailer links earn a commission. Rankings and criticism cannot be purchased. Material connections are disclosed close to recommendations, and free samples will be identified in the relevant review.
